On Monday, September 20th, Jewish Federation will welcome Alan Dershowitz, world-renowned human rights advocate, Harvard lawyer and best-selling author of The Case for Israel. The format of this event is unique: Instead of speaking on a single pre-determined topic, Alan Dershowitz will answer questions submitted by community members. This is your opportunity to help steer the discussion, and to engage him in topics that are meaningful to you.

Cheryl comes to Jewish Federation from the Vancouver General Hospital and University of British Columbia Hospital Foundation, where she previously held the director of fundraising for community role. ETHIOPIAN-ISRAELI STUDENTS INTERN AT VANCOUVER LAW FIRMS
This summer, two Ethiopian-Israeli students are in Vancouver on a Federation-sponsored program to intern at local law firms. Federation has provided funds to support outstanding students, who otherwise would not have the means to pay for their education, and to enable them to gain valuable work experience. MORE
