Being informed and knowledgeable about Israel and the Jewish community allows us to share our perspective with our fellow Canadians, enhancing the positive relationship we have. Federation supports advocacy through initiatives dedicated to increased understanding and awareness.

Canada-Israel Committee
The Canada-Israel Committee (CIC) is the official representative of the organized Canadian Jewish community on matters pertaining to Canada-Israel relations. The CIC is devoted to the promotion of increased understanding between the peoples of Canada and Israel. It is a non-partisan, voluntary, non-profit organization that enjoys the support of Canadians from all walks of life.

Canadian Jewish Congress
Canadian Jewish Congress works to foster a Canada where Jews, as part of the multicultural fabric of this country, live in and contribute to an environment of opportunity and mutual respect.

Canadian Jewish Congress, Pacific Region represents the Jewish community to fellow B.C. residents and to government. Working to strengthen and preserve Jewish life throughout the province, CJCPR deals with a variety of advocacy issues, including security, status and rights of the B.C. Jewish community, as well as seeking provincial government support on policy matters affecting those matters. It identifies, develops, researches and presents issues of concern to all levels of government, and works with intergovernmental and crown agencies, law enforcement agencies, and the NGO sector on those issues. 


The Canadian Council for Israel and Jewish Advocacy (CIJA) CIJA is a non-partisan, umbrella organization for Jewish community advocacy efforts, directing strategies to improve the quality of Jewish life in Canada and abroad, increase support for Israel, and strengthen the Canada-Israel relationship.
